Jitha Suresh is a dedicated Master prepared RN with a career spanning over several years in the nursing field. She has served in various roles, including Clinical Nurse, Nurse Manager, and currently as a Professional Development Nurse in 27 Ambulatory Health Centers. Jitha has a strong focus on clinical care practices, team leadership, management, and serving as a resource, mentor, and preceptor to nursing staff. She has been actively involved in various committees and initiatives, such as the Emergency and Disaster Committee, Staff Education and Qualification Committee, Nursing Policy and Procedure Committee, Nursing Advisory Council, and Emergency Service line Initiative. Jitha has also been a member of the Nursing Research Team and has served as a Life Support Instructor. She has played a key role in organizing the Community Health Nursing Conference and has been a speaker at the 1st Community Health Nursing Conference in DHA. Jitha has developed the Crash call management system in Primary Health Care. In her current role as a Senior Staff Nurse in the Professional Development Office at the Ambulatory Health Center, Jitha identifies and assesses learning needs, designs and delivers educational programs, and provides leadership and expertise in program development and evaluation. She also orients new nurses, develops and assesses nursing competencies, coordinates the Graduate Nurse Program, and develops evidence- based clinical practice guidelines. Jitha has extensive experience in emergency codes and responses, conducting drills, mentoring new preceptors, and maintaining mandatory training programs. Prior to her current role, Jitha has worked as a Nurse In Charge, Deputy Nurse in Charge, Preceptor, and General Nurse in various healthcare settings. She holds an MSc in Nursing with a Medical Surgical Specialty and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Jitha is a registered nurse with licenses from Dubai Health Authority, Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, and the Federal Department of Nursing. She possesses a range of skills, including professional development, clinical instruction, resource management, communication skills, leadership skills, instructional design, and critical thinking.
