Fatima Ghanim Al Shamsi is a distinguished nursing professional renowned for her leadership and dedication to patient care. Her career began with a Diploma in Nursing from the Institute of Nursing in Sharjah in 1996, followed by a Diploma in Midwifery from the College of Health Sciences in Bahrain in 1999. She further advanced her education with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from RAK Medical & Health Sciences University in 2019.Starting at Al Qassimi Hospital in 1996, Fatima quickly rose through the ranks, serving as a Midwife in the Labour Room and later as Nurse Manager for departments such as Maternity, Labor & Delivery, Pediatrics, and NICU. From 2014 to 2016, she was the Director of Nursing at Al Qassimi Hospital. In 2016, Fatima joined the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) as the Head of Manpower Planning, Empowerment, and Development in the Nursing Department. In September 2021, she assumed a similar role at Emirates Health Services (EHS), where she continues to enhance nursing standards and patient care across the UAE. Fatima's career reflects her philosophy of Empowering through Compassionate Care.
