Based in Dubai, Dr. Sylvia has a strong academic background and a career marked by excellence in patient care, management, and research. She began her educational journey with a B.Sc. in Nursing from Fr. Muller’s College of Nursing, Mangalore University, in 1994. She further specialized with an M.Sc. in Nursing, focusing on Obstetrics and Gynecology at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in 1998. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to pursue a Bachelor in Applied Sciences - Midwifery from Dubai Women’s College in 2010, and later, advanced degrees from SBS Swiss Business School, including a Masters in Applied Business Research in 2019 and a Doctorate in Business Administration in 2021. Professionally, Dr. Sylvia has made significant contributions at Latifa Women and Children Hospital in Dubai, where she is serving since July 2001. Her earlier roles include being a Lecturer at Dr. M.V. Shetty Institute of Health Sciences and an Assistant Lecturer and Clinical Instructor at S.C.S College of Nursing.
