Dr. Aisha Salim Al-Mamari is a respected leader in midwifery education with over 15 years of experience advancing the field in Oman. She serves as the academic coordinator for the midwifery program and a senior science tutor at the Higher Institute of Health Specialties. Dr. Al-Mamari completed her nursing and midwifery studies in Oman, earned her master’s degree from the University of Central Lancashire in 2006, and a PhD from Cardiff University in 2021. Recently, she was appointed Head of the Assessments and Examinations Committee at the Arab Board of Nursing and Midwifery Council. Her research spans topics such as job satisfaction among midwives and the effects of diet on gestational diabetes, reflecting her dedication to enhancing maternal and newborn health in Oman and the region.
