Nasreen Mohammed Alshamy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from King Saud University (KSU), graduating in 2003. She began her career as a staff nurse in the maternity unit at KFSH&RC from 2003 to 2005. Nasreen then worked as an assistant lecturer and staff nurse at the Nursing College in National Guard Hospital from 2005 to 2010, during which she earned her master’s degree in maternal and child health care. From 2010 to 2022, she served as a lecturer in the Maternal and Child Health Department at KSU. Nasreen completed her PhD at Dundee University in Scotland in 2023, after starting her studies in 2016. As of 2024, she holds the position of Assistant Vice Dean for Academic and Educational Affairs at the Nursing College, KSU, and is also an Assistant Professor in Maternal and Women's Health.
